How can I book a property listed in your database?

Please fill in the Order Form. Sawah will check and confirm the availability of your property and get back to you within 24 hours via e-mail, with corresponding link to Payment page for the deposit. As soon as payment is processed, you will receive a Sales Receipt confirming the booking and the receipt of payment for the deposit.
   
Q. Are there any surcharges for the reservation?
There are no surcharges, and no hidden charges. You only pay for the rental of the accommodation booked with us. For bookings/ reservations, we require a deposit equivalent to the cost of a one night stay. The rest of the amount due must be paid in cash on the day of check-in.
 
Q. I have looked through your database but none of the listed accommodations fit my criteria.
If you haven't found a suitable unit in our Accommodations database, please describe your specific needs by filling out the Advanced Search form, and we will search for a more suitable unit for you. Please note that the Advanced Search process could take from 1 to 20 days depending on the required location and any other special requirements. That is why we advise you to fill out the Advanced Search order ahead of time.
 

 

Q. I am not sure where in Bahrain would be the best place for me to stay.
Certainly it is hard to prefer one place over another here in Bahrain, especially if you haven't been here before. Please do not hesitate to contact us in this case. We can advise you which location is most suitable for you based on your preferences (type of neighborhood; accessibility to dining/entertainment/leisure destinations)
 
Q. How competitive are the rates of Sawah?

We work directly with property owners who provide us with great discounts that we pass on to you. That's why our prices even after including our commissions are on the same level as what you would get if you deal with property owners directly. Internet enabling our business helps us to cut our costs and keeps overheads low as well, and at the same time significantly expands our customer base. This is how we can keep our rates lower than any other real estate agency.

   
Q. How can I change or cancel my booking?

Please contact us should you wish to change or cancel your existing booking. To change a booking you need to cancel the previous one. A cancellation fee will apply. Cancellations made up to 14 days before the arrival date, are subject to a 30 BHD cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 14 days before the arrival date, the cancellation fee equals the cost of a one night stay.

   
Q. How do I reach the accommodation I booked once I am in Bahrain?

We can provide you with information about available transportation that you can take to get to your accommodation. However we sincerely recommend that you take advantage of our transfer services from/to airport. This is the most comfortable, safe and efficient way to reach your destination. Our bilingual representative will meet you in the airport with a lettered sign bearing your name, help you with luggage and drive you to your destination point. He can also recommend the best restaurants, shopping areas, and other places of interest. The driver will ensure that you are satisfied with your accommodation and accompanying services. This service is available with an apartment booking or as a stand-alone service.

   
Q. Is transportation included in the rental fee?

No, transportation and other additional services are not included in the price of rentals. See the Transportation Rates at the Services page.

   
Q. Who should I contact if I have a complaint about the accommodation I booked?

We bear the full responsibility for the accuracy of our listings. You are welcome to contact us whatever the problem. We will do our best to find a solution.
